Limited company accountants

Accounting that helps your company grow

Running a limited company brings responsibilities that sole traders never have to think about — statutory accounts, Corporation Tax, confirmation statements, payroll and the question of how best to pay yourself.

We take all of that off your plate, keep every deadline on track and give you clear, proactive advice throughout the year — so you can get on with running the business.

A proactive partner

We don't just appear when your accounts are due

Plenty of accountants only get in touch once a year, when it's too late to change anything. We work the other way round.

We look at your numbers through the year, flag opportunities before they're missed and help you plan — whether that's the most tax-efficient way to draw an income, when to register for VAT or whether you can afford your next hire.

Stay compliant. Pay the right tax. Make better decisions.

  • Tax-efficient pay

The right mix of salary and dividends for you, reviewed as your profits change.

  • Deadlines handled

Companies House and HMRC dates tracked for you, with reminders well in advance.

  • Clear financial insight

Up-to-date cloud figures and plain-English reporting on how the company is doing.

  • Support as you grow

From your first year of trading to staff, VAT and more complex structures.

FAQs

Got questions? We've got answers.

Can't see yours? Ask us directly — the first conversation is free.

Do I need an accountant for my limited company?

It isn't a legal requirement, but most directors use one. A limited company has to file statutory accounts with Companies House and a Corporation Tax return with HMRC every year, as well as running payroll and, often, VAT. An accountant keeps all of that compliant, makes sure you're not paying more tax than you need to, and saves you a lot of time.

Can you help me decide how to pay myself?

Yes. For most owner-managed companies, the mix of salary, dividends and pension contributions makes a real difference to how much tax you pay overall. We work that out for your circumstances, and review it when your profits or the rules change. Our free calculator gives a quick first comparison.

Can you work with cloud accounting software?

Yes. We work with Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent, and can help you choose and set up the right one if you're not using any software yet.

Do you support newly formed companies?

Absolutely. We can help you set up the company, register for the right taxes, set up payroll and get your bookkeeping right from day one — which is far easier than fixing it later.

Can I switch accountants part-way through the year?

Yes, and it's more straightforward than most people expect. We contact your current accountant for the information we need, get authorised with HMRC and pick things up from there, so nothing falls through the gaps.
