Do you only work with businesses in Blackpool?
No. We're based in Blackpool and work with plenty of clients across the Fylde Coast and Lancashire, but because everything runs on cloud software we support businesses, landlords and sole traders right across the UK. Meetings can be in person, by phone or on video — whatever suits you.
How much do your services cost?
Every client gets a fixed monthly fee, agreed before you commit to anything. It depends on what you need — a sole trader's Self Assessment is a very different job from a VAT-registered company with staff — so we'll give you a clear quote after a free consultation. No hourly billing and no surprise invoices for picking up the phone.
Is it difficult to switch accountants?
Not at all, and we do the work. Once you're happy to go ahead, we contact your current accountant for the information we need, get authorised with HMRC and Companies House, and take over your deadlines. Most people are surprised how painless it is, and you can switch at any point in the year.
Which accounting software do you work with?
We're a Xero Gold Partner and a FreeAgent Bronze Partner, and we also work with QuickBooks and Sage. If you're not using any software yet — or you're on spreadsheets — we'll recommend the right package and set it up for you properly.
Are you ready for Making Tax Digital?
Yes. Making Tax Digital for Income Tax began in April 2026 for sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000, dropping to £30,000 in 2027 and £20,000 in 2028. We'll tell you when it applies to you, set up compatible software and handle the quarterly updates on your behalf.
